Is today perhaps just not right,
you ask yourself, 'what's the use'?
Before you cry away your woes
shed a tear for children
of abuse.

Are you today a little troubled,
so many things not goin' your way?
Before you cry away your woes
think of children with no food
day after day.

When we're faced with days of worry,
oft times we ask 'why was I born'?
Before you cry away your woes
think of children dressed
tattered and torn.

For the many helpless children,
lift your hearts to God above
that through His grace and glory,
some will find peace
hope and love.
